Tour Details and Itinerary
Spend a relaxing half day exploring the underwater beauty of the Red Sea aboard the Nefertari semi-submarine cruise from Marsa Alam. This unique boat offers both underwater viewing and a guided snorkeling experience, all in the comfort of a stylish vessel departing from Port Ghalib Marina.
Your experience begins with pickup from your hotel in Marsa Alam, followed by a short drive to Port Ghalib. There, you’ll board the Nefertari — a semi-submarine designed with pharaonic-inspired decor and elegant indoor and outdoor spaces. From ornate wall carvings to open-air decks, the boat is built for comfort and visual appeal.
Once on board, enjoy a welcome drink as the boat departs for the coral reefs of Marsa Mubarak, also known as Turtle Bay. This reef area is famous for its rich marine life, including sea turtles, rays, and tropical fish. Occasionally, dugongs or dolphins are spotted in the area as well.
You’ll begin the trip in the underwater observation lounge, a climate-controlled lower deck with large panoramic windows. This section allows you to view coral gardens and marine creatures up close, without getting wet. You’ll spend about 45 minutes watching the reef through the glass, making it ideal for children and non-swimmers.
Afterward, there’s a chance to snorkel in the calm, shallow waters near the reef. Masks, fins, and life jackets are provided. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced snorkeler, this part of the trip offers a safe and easy way to explore the Red Sea’s marine life directly.
Back on board, a freshly prepared lunch is served. Choose from seafood, chicken, or vegetarian options, with drinks included. If you join the sunset cruise, the meal is timed to enjoy the sky changing colors as the sun sets over the water.
Before returning, the cruise makes a final stop at Port Ghalib. You’ll have time to walk along the marina, browse local shops, or relax at one of the open-air cafés. After this short break, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
This tour is perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking to combine marine exploration with comfort and a touch of Egyptian-inspired design.
