Tour Description & Itinerary:
Set your alarm early—around 4:00 AM—and get ready to leave Marsa Alam on a scenic, air-conditioned drive east to Luxor. You’ll arrive mid-morning, energized and ready to step back into the grandeur of ancient Egypt.
Morning (West Bank):
First up is the Valley of the Kings, the famous burial ground of pharaohs like Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, and more. You’ll explore 3 tombs, delving into richly painted chambers that once guarded the journey to the afterlife . From there, it’s a short drive to the striking Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut—built into the cliffs above, it’s a stunning tribute to Egypt’s most powerful female ruler . Just down the road, you’ll pause at the giant Colossi of Memnon—those imposing twin statues that once flanked a grand temple.
Midday:
You’ll take a familiar ferry or motorboat ride across the Nile to the East Bank, where a relaxed lunch awaits at a Nile-view restaurant .
Afternoon (East Bank):
Post-lunch, start with a visit to the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple Complex—wander the sprawling ruins, towering pylons, and the iconic Hypostyle Hall, filled with colossal columns stretching as far as the eye can see . If time allows, you can add a quick stop at Luxor Temple (optional), enjoying its serene evening light and myth-filled walls .
Return Journey:
By late afternoon, we’ll start the drive back to Marsa Alam, where you’ll arrive around 8:00–9:00 PM—tired, inspired, and full of stories from your day.
All transportation, guiding, meals, and site charges are handled. Just bring your sense of wonder—and maybe a pair of comfy shoes.
