Tour Description & Itinerary:
Set out on a relaxed yet inspiring two-day exploration of Luxor, easing into your adventure before sunrise on Day 1. We’ll pick you up around 4:00 AM from your Marsa Alam hotel and enjoy a scenic drive east to Luxor with refreshing breaks along the way. Once you arrive mid-morning, your Egyptologist guide welcomes you and begins your journey with a visit to the Valley of the Kings. Explore several royal tombs—each richly decorated and filled with centuries-old stories.
Next, we’ll visit the striking Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built into towering cliffs, followed by a photo stop at the iconic Colossi of Memnon. After soaking in that history, we’ll cross the Nile to the East Bank for a delicious lunch in a riverside restaurant offering calm views and local flavors.
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon: choose to unwind, revisit a favorite site, or visit Luxor Temple as sunset casts its glow over the ancient columns. In the evening, check into your comfortable hotel in Luxor for a relaxing night’s sleep and dinner.
Day 2 begins with breakfast at the hotel before heading to the vast Karnak Temple complex. Wander through grand pylons, statues, obelisks, and the towering Hypostyle Hall—one of the most impressive ancient spaces in Egypt. If desired, we can include a visit to Luxor Temple in daylight or even an optional hot‑air balloon ride (booking in advance recommended). Afterwards, we’ll enjoy lunch before starting the return trip to Marsa Alam, arriving in the evening with memories of an unforgettable Luxor experience.
