Make the most of your time in Egypt with a full-day trip from Hurghada to Cairo by plane. This fast and convenient tour allows you to explore Cairo’s world-famous landmarks without losing a beach day.
The tour begins early, with pickup from your hotel in Hurghada between 3:00 and 4:00 AM. From there, you’ll be transferred to Hurghada Airport for your short domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in the capital, you’ll meet your licensed Egyptologist guide and start your full-day cultural journey.
Your first stop is the Giza Plateau, home to Egypt’s most iconic monuments. Stand in front of the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and take in the scale and symmetry of these ancient wonders. Nearby, you’ll visit the Sphinx, carved from a single block of limestone, and explore the Valley Temple, believed to have played a role in the mummification rituals of the pharaohs.
After visiting the pyramids, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, with views of either the Nile or pyramids depending on availability. The meal includes traditional Egyptian dishes in a relaxed, scenic setting.
Next, your guide will take you to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, home to one of the world’s largest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Highlights include the treasures of Tutankhamun, ancient mummies, royal statues, and rare jewelry. Optional upgrades are available for access to the Royal Mummies Room or the Grand Egyptian Museum, if open and requested in advance.
If time allows, your guide may also walk you through Islamic Cairo, with its preserved medieval architecture, and lead you through the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can browse handmade souvenirs, spices, and traditional goods.
By early evening, you’ll return to Cairo Airport for your flight back to Hurghada. Upon arrival, your driver will take you back to your hotel, with the evening free to relax after a memorable day in Egypt’s capital.
